1. Three words that describe me:
 Creator,Seeker, Collaborator

2. Background Story:

I was born in Michigan and moved to Massachusetts as a child. I grew up in a large chaotic family, on a farm (which has become Whole Hemp Farm) I moved away as fast as I could at 18, and didn’t look back for 30 years educating myself and working as Musician and Landscape Architect, and devoting myself to raising
a family. I was trained as a musician the New England Conservatory, and am very active as a professional performer, composer, and educator. Experience with music, and the artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with has deeply informed my creative, spiritual, and social, awareness. I also studied landscape architecture and planning, and have a masters degree in each field from Harvard Grad School of Design. I own and operate a thriving landscape architectural firm, Thomas Wirth Associates. In 2013, I bought the farm from my parents, and began molding it to meet my visions and passions. Today, with our
incredible team, the farm has evolved into a fully liscensed multi-layered, hemp growing, curing, and production facility, nested in a permaculture
inspired landscape of food forests and every edible fruit, nut, and perennial vegetable, available to our climate. Our work is modeled on natural systems,
deep horticulture, and principles of sustainability. All these elements are alive on the farm, and in the diverse professional community of artists, designers, horticulturalists, chemists / scientists, and business facilitators.

3. Why do this?

The information of Whole Hemp Farm was driven by a desire to share.  I have learned that the art of growing plants is a deeply creative act, science integrated with the natural systems and cosmic forces - “Living Arts”. I want to share the energy this creates, with collaborators, partners, and visitors to form a space of wonder, dedicated to producing the highest quality cannabis plants nested in an innovative agricultural system, and making extraordinary
pure products with ONLY our own plants.  We simultaneously strive to maintain an experiential learning environment, which fosters physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual, growth for the community, and a transference of healing for those who use our products.

4. What is my Personal Mission?

The source of my inspiration lies within the phenomenological realms of music, spatial design, natural systems, horticulture, creating beautiful works of art,
and making culinary / medicinal concoctions. While each of these streams are rooted in the material / physical realm, I am most intrigued by the overlap
with the spiritual and undefinable aspects of each stream. To connect to dots of material and metaphysical, and find ways to share this miraculous experience. For me the experience with cannabis is a bridge to this
understanding.

Three words that describe me:  Seeker, Generous, Decisive

Background Story:

I was born on the US island paradise of Puerto Rico, where farmers are also fishermen. Education and social justice fuel the life blood that drives me. I’ve studied at some of the world’s greatest institutions—Emerson College (mass media), University of Massachusetts-Boston
(community services and legal advocacy), Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) (city planning), and Harvard University (Doctor of Education in
administration, planning and social policy). I’ve enjoyed at least seven professional careers from Community Organizer and EMT to Optician, Social Worker, Dean of Academic and Student Affairs to Statistician, among  others, some simultaneously. I’m an Army veteran and long distance runner, having run marathons in Boston, Toronto, Montreal, and New York to name a few.
I’ve traveled throughout Europe (France, Spain and Belgium), Africa (Egypt), Central America (Panama), and throughout the US. I’m an avid urban gardener
with a half-century of experience. I speak the universal language of Music through Jazz, Funk and Blues Guitar (my lifelong love). My life has been shaped by my
elders, both familiar and communal. And very importantly: My life was saved by
a stranger.

 Why do I do this?

Through my work at Whole Hemp Farm, I’m beginning to
fulfill my ancient and recent ancestors’ legacy. This legacy spans time, growing and greening the flora of our island from malanga and guanamana to
avocados and mangos; and is respectfully and lovingly rooted in my indigenous (Taino), colonialist (Spanish) and Slave ancestors (West African), living their individual lives dealt to them through chaos theory, and deriving sustenance from labor harvesting bananas and king sugar cane.

The Farm is a great opportunity for me to learn new skills and maybe acquire another career profession, Farmer. I meet and work with very creative and interesting People; I get to commune with People who
respect themselves and others, and who love and validate People.

My Personal Mission:

I would like to make CBD and other herbal remedies readily available to the People who need them. Wholistic living as part of the
Universal Laws of Nature centers my Life’s Mission. I would like to contribute to the discovery of disease prevention and alleviation so as to give all Power
to the People.

1. Three words that describe me.
 High Integrity, Ambitious, Committed

2. Background story:

I was born in Doylestown, PA. When I was till a baby, my family and I moved to the hometown of Johnny Appleseed in Leominster, MA; and I attended Leominster public schools. In high school, I attended vocational school where I learned the trade of drafting. After high school, I moved to Florida to start my career as a Boilermaker/Tube-fitter. I traveled the country working power plant shut downs for approximately 10 years traveling to many cities such as: Pittsburgh, PA, Somerville, SC; Walterboro, SC; Goose Creek, SC; Cocoa Beach, FL; Rock Springs, WY; Green Bay, WI; Louisville, KY; Peekskill, NY; Las Vegas, NV; and Globe, AZ.

After my career as a Boilermaker/Tube fitter, I moved on to work for my father’s transportation business where I transported handicapped children and the elderly. I also maintained the position of dispatch and office manager. After that I went on to become a relocation consultant for Allied & North American Van Lines. My career in the Cannabis and Hemp Industry started in 2014 when I moved to Washington state to be the head grower of a 30,000 square foot recreational cannabis facility located in Tacoma, WA. After three years of gaining experience in the cannabis industry, I moved back to Massachusetts to begin my own endeavor, which I am currently the head cultivator and co-founder of.

3. Why I do this?

My answer to this question is simple: Besides the beautiful friendships I’ve made,  I do it because I love it. They say find a career you love and you will never work a day in your life; I truly believe this. Waking up at dawn to the sound of the birds is the perfect start to my day. Watching the growth of the hemp plants from seed to harvest is such a rewarding experience--a labor of love, sweat, and tears.

4. What is my Personal Mission?

My personal goal that drives my work is to get our wholesome products to people who truly need them; people in pain, with life threatening diseases, and those facing life’s stresses to enhance their and our general community’s quality of life. Ultimately, I plan on doing well by doing a whole lot of good.
